OLPH Orchestra
From Drafts to Final
Along with performing in the orchestra on the Alto Saxophone, I also design signs, posters and pamphlets for the concert. Here’s the examples of the first drafts (top images) became final (bottom images) after feedback and discussions with the conductor and leader of our orchestra.
Still life
Still life work done in Photoshop for a challenge hosted by @stillherestilllife on Instagram who posts still-life photography every week.
Game Jam
Following the theme "lost and found" provided by the Games Institute at the University of Waterloo's Game Jam, my friends and I made a game in five days that involved the player going around a castle and trading with in-game characters to find the legendary peanut butter and jelly sandwich recipe for the prince.
Check out the backgrounds I drew and animated with Photoshop below!
Glass bottle painting
I’ve always enjoyed acrylic painting, but recently I’ve found it fun to experiment with painting on different surfaces rather than just canvases. The preparation for glass bottle painting involves cleaning, priming and sealing after painting. I enjoy imitating Monet and Van Gogh’s paintings.
Contest submissions
Here are some illustrations I submitted to various contests. I enjoy applying to these because it gives me the creative freedom to draw while having some guidelines in place.
