Social posts
I designed posts for LinkedIn, and previously, Instagram. Posts are usually created for campaigns, events, awards won, and product releases. They are a combination of static images, videos and motion graphics.
Announcements and product releases tend to be animations rather than stills in order to stand out more from our other posts.
As of June 2024, our LinkedIn’s engagement rate was at 15.41%. Currently, we have 14K followers.
Process: From Static to Motion
Previously, MindBridge’s posts had been majority static. In order to highlight the importance of the collaboration with KPMG, I suggested creating an animated short social post for LinkedIn. Keeping them under 5 seconds, with some moving backgrounds would be eye-catching while being simple and on brand. Including our brand’s highlights, underlines and circles shows the human quality of the company’s collaboration.
Release Posts and Gradients
To add more variety and gather more interest to our posts, I continued making animations highlighting the newest features in our product release. For static posts, we added darker gradients for a higher contrast with the text and buttons. Hand-drawn lines and highlights are used to draw the eyes to the focus point of each post.
Paid Ads
CFO Brew: Designing with Time Constraints
I created ads for CFO Brew, a newsletter for financial professionals which fit the company’s target demographic. The goal was something simple and eye-catching while the viewers look through the newsletter. I decided to use similar assets from a previous social due to the time crunch while enlarging the text.
The three ads garnered 329k impressions, around 100k per ad. Our ad engagement was 3x the overall newsletter’s rate. These assets were also resized and reused on LinkedIn.
ABM Campaigns and Events: Merging New Ideas with our Branding
Our new ABM Manager recommended a new style of ads that are more colourful and “click-baity”. The new styling also includes clear glass to express the transparency of our product. To combine the new ideas with our brand, I tried fading the imagery into our dark blue colour while retaining a faded, glass-like texture on our circular brand asset.
Event Collateral
From banners and happy hour invites to swag, here are some examples of event collateral I worked on in the Design team for our booths at conferences.
Happy hour invites are postcard sizing and placed at the booth for attendees to take. The following was used at IIA GAM.
Here are two table top designs to advertise our speaking sessions at conferences.
Post - event video
For events that the company attends, we create videos before and after for promotions. I create shot lists for attendees to help them capture videos, then go through the footage afterward to create a recap. These videos are usually created within a two-day deadline after the the footage is uploaded. Unused footage is used in future pre - event promos.
MindBridge Academy Animation
MindBridge Academy is the internal and customer learning portal. It includes courses about the platform’s functionality and training for new product releases. The animation shows a brief overview of all the features and rebranding. This was made in collaboration with MindBridge’s education team.
Storyboard & guide
I created a guide when presenting the storyboard to the education team to facilitate envisioning the animation from stills and so they could review the slides afterwards. The storyboard allows for the team to see the expectations and add changes before the animation drafts are sent out. Presenting this also allowed me to specify which assets were needed for the animation and further clarify missing details.
Final product
After two review processes within the design and education teams, the final product was uploaded onto the company website and Youtube.
Thank you MindBridge!
My experience at MindBridge has developed my adaptability and creativity.
From Sharepoint to email designs to animations, working at MindBridge has given me opportunities to learn many new platforms and ways to design.
Furthermore, these projects have developed my skills in presenting to stakeholders, collaborating with departments outside of design.
Thank you to the MindBridge team <3 It’s always a pleasure working with you!
